House of Fine Chocolates Closing

We are saddened to announce the closing of House of Fine Chocolates effective October 1, 2012

In 1945 Willy Rahmig realized his lifelong dream and opened this shop. For nearly 70 years our family has been indulging the sweet-tooths of generations of Chicagoans. We have watched little girls begging sweets from their fathers grow up to pick their wedding cake and then bring in their own children. We have got to know our customers by name, becoming friends with so many. For our family, the House of Fine Chocolate was our home.

So, it is with a heavy heart that due to sharply escalating operating costs we have had to make this difficult decision to close. We sincerely appreciate your patronage and apologize for any inconvenience.
